Gulf Shores Entertainment

More Info

Besides having your own personal beach party, there is plenty to do in the Gulf Shores area for entertainment. No matter your idea of fun, your age, or the weather, there's something for everyone.

Arcades, Go-Karts, Mini Golf & More

There's no shortage of family-friendly, gaming entertainment with the variety of amusement parks and arcades in the area. Fat Daddy's Arcade is the newest arcade in Orange Beach with over 65 games to play. The Track Family Recreation Center in Gulf Shores is the largest entertainment location in the area where kids and adults alike can enjoy driving around the Go-Kart track, crashing bumper boats, playing mini golf, playing games in the arcade, and freefalling on the Skycoaster. Another location for mini golf is Shrimpi's Mini Golf and Arcade in Gulf Shores. It has an 18-hole indoor course and other entertaining games that make it a great place for a rainy day. Adventure Island in Orange Beach features rides, go-karts, mini golf, laser tag, and an arcade with over 100 games for the whole family to enjoy.

Theater & Cinema

Cobb Theaters Pinnacle 14 is a cinema located at the Craft Farms shopping center as in the source of some great Gulf Shores entertainment. It is the most modern theater in the area and a good option for seeing a movie on a rainy day. Matinees begin around 11 am and the last shows begin between 7 and 8 pm daily. Pinnacle 14 has 14 movie screens with a large selection of films to choose from on any given day. They also feature digital projection, high-back reclining seats, and an extensive food menu. Some theaters also have 3D screenings and D-Box motion seats for special effects that go along with the action of the film. Take a quick drive from our Gulf Shores condos and Orange Beach rentals and see what's playing.

If an evening trip to the theater to see a play is your idea of entertainment and relaxation, you'll be happy to learn that there are two community theaters in the area. Theatre 98 in Fairhope has evening productions year-round, and the South Baldwin Community Theater puts on shows Thursday-Sunday, August-May. The South Baldwin Community Theater sometimes features plays written by local playwrights as well as a mix of American classics, while Theatre 98 tends to put on more traditional plays.

Concerts & Live music

If live music is your idea of entertainment, there are a variety of options near our Orange Beach condos and Gulf Shores rentals. Besides the famous Hangout Festival that takes place annually on the beach in May, there are monthly live shows at the Amphitheater at the Wharf that feature famous acts. Just a few artists playing this spring and summer include Styx, Goo Goo Dolls, Peter Frampton, and Phish. Keep an eye on the schedule to make vacation plans in time to catch a favorite band. Other great options to catch a live show any day of the week include Lulu's, a famous restaurant in Gulf Shores, and the Flor-Bama lounge located at the Florida/Alabama border. The Flor-Bama has a daily music lineup throughout the warmer months while Lulu's usually features one act daily starting around 5pm.
