The NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship in Gulf Shores

Introduction

2016 marked the first year of the National Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championship in Gulf Shores, which SportsTravel magazine named its "Best New Event" and it is only getting better! Beach volleyball is one of the most exciting sports in the NCAA, featuring over 55 sponsoring schools - it's the quickest growing championship sport as well.

This championship includes eight teams that will face off in a double-elimination format with teams of five pairs. Gulf Shores' beautiful weather and environment are the perfect backdrop for watching the beachside matches. Bleachers and courtside seating will be ready for the volleyball fans to catch the action up close and personal. You can taste the Gulf air, feel the sand on your feet, and watch the players' passion for the game as they face each other.

Tickets

You can purchase tickets directly from the NCAA. The 2017 NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship runs from May 5-7th, 2017. Prices for individual tickets range from $20-175. Practice begins the day before. There is ADA seating available, and tickets are non-refundable. Learn more on the event's page.
