Our number one goal is for our guests to have a safe and wonderful vacation. In our current world with COVID-19, we want to be as transparent as possible in sharing our cleaning process with you. We hope that this will give you further peace of mind when booking your reservation with Brett/Robinson.
In Your Rental:
We want your rental to be a home away from home. To make sure you are comfortable and safe, we begin all cleaning procedures with products that are EPA approved and hospital grade. The CDC recommends that all surfaces be cleaned then disinfected and sanitized which is exactly what we do. In addition, Brett/Robinson owns and operates a state-of-the-art commercial laundry facility. Our laundry insures cleanliness of all linens to the highest standard through industrial-high water temperatures and commercial level disinfectants.
Prior to entering a condominium, our Housekeeping Staff Member properly fit themselves in a clean mask and gloves. Utilizing a “follow the wall” procedure, beginning to their right, and working from high to low, our team proceeds to clean the entire property. This ensures that all dirt or dust containing germs from above are removed before cleaning lower surfaces. The totality of surfaces throughout the property are cleaned along with a second disinfecting step. Even furniture, including upholstery, is cleaned and disinfected before every arrival.
Close attention is paid to high-touch surfaces and areas in your rental. This includes remotes, door knobs, entry locks, light switches, lamp switches, thermostats, refrigerator door handles, microwave handles, appliance knobs, toilet handles, faucet handles, shower handles, tub handles, balcony door handles, blind wands, washer & dryer knobs/doors, etc. Each are wiped with an EPA registered cleaning/disinfectant product. The manufacturers guidelines are followed to achieve proper disinfection.
Upon arrival, you may notice that bedding differs from the photos on our website. We now utilize a bedding method known as triple sheeting. Each bed will be fitted with a clean fitted sheet, a clean flat sheet, a blanket and, finally, an additional clean flat sheet. This allows for deep cleaning and laundering of all bed linen following every stay. You can rest easy knowing you are safe in your rental.
Following the thorough cleaning of the condo or house where you are staying, a Quality Attendant inspects every aspect of the property. During this inspection, they will disinfect all surfaces for a second time paying close attention to high-touch surfaces and areas. They will also insure cleanliness meets our high standards.
To provide you with proof of this, cards will be left in your rental with the name of both the Housekeeper and Quality Attendant and the date both services were completed. The comfort, health and safety of our guests is of the utmost importance. You can be assured that we are ever vigilant in our question to provide clean, sanitize and disinfected vacation properties.
