Located right on Mobile Bay on historic Fort Morgan Road, Pelican Roost is the perfect spot for large families or groups of up to 15 guests to gather together for quality time on the bay. With a pier for fishing and easy access to the water, spectacular bay views, an expansive deck, an updated fully-stocked kitchen, spacious living spaces – and frequent visits from our pelican friends – Pelican Roost is the place to be.

Living Spaces
With a completely open floor plan, it’s easy for everyone to gather together at Pelican Roost. The living area is light, bright, and spacious, with huge windows overlooking the bay, plush seating, and a flatscreen TV with an extensive DVD collection to keep you entertained on rainy days. There is also a built-in desk if you need to get some work done while you’re away.

Kitchen & Dining
The chef won’t ever have to miss out on the party – the beautiful, updated kitchen is completely open to the living room. It shares those same beautiful bay views and has a massive kitchen island with bar seating, a wine fridge, a dishwasher, and everything else needed for prepping meals. And with glass-front upper cabinets, it’s easy to find what you need. When it’s time to dine, there’s a large dining table with stunning bay views and seating for twelve.

Bedrooms & Baths
Each of the four bedrooms is super spacious with plenty of natural light, flatscreen TVs, and comfy, hotel-style bedding. And wait until you see the enormous primary suite, which easily fits a Queen bed, three twin beds, and an entire dining table with chairs.

It doesn’t get much better than the outdoor space at Pelican Roost! You can spend all your time outside with direct bay access, a private pier for fishing, and an enormous covered, screened-in deck overlooking it all. The deck is the perfect place to hang out, with plenty of outdoor furniture including dining and lounge areas and a large wet bar that makes it easy to grab snacks and drinks without needing to go inside. Below the house, you’ll find a convenient outdoor shower so you can wash away the bay when you’re done for the day. 

Located on Fort Morgan Road, Pelican Roost has a wonderful, quiet location right on the bay. It’s easy to enjoy quality time with family and friends and have all kinds of aquatic adventures. Bring or rent a kayak or paddle board, and spend every day out on the water. There are several restaurants nearby when you want to eat out, and of course historic Fort Morgan is close by. You’re also a quick drive to all the best Gulf Shores attractions, from shops and restaurants to arcades and amusement parks to wildlife refuges and state parks.
