Important Update • Due Date Extension

Orange Beach Renewal Deadline: February 28, 2026

The Orange Beach Finance Department has extended the due date for submitting business license requirements to February 28, 2026.

If contacting the Finance Department, please include what your inquiry relates to (for example, the online portal or missing renewal forms) to help route your request.

Orange Beach OpenGov Renewal – Step-by-Step

Orange Beach business license renewals are completed through the OpenGov portal. If you do not already have an account, you will need to create one before submitting your renewal.

  1. Visit the OpenGov portal and enter your email address to create your account.
  2. You will receive a verification email from noreply@opengov.com. Select Verify Email.
  3. Log in to the Secure Portal using your email and password.
  4. Select Finance Department, then choose Business License Application, and click Apply Online.
  5. Complete the application by entering your basic and business information, including:
    • Business name and contact details
    • Organization type (LLC, Corporation, Sole Proprietor, etc.)
    • Application type (2026 Renewal if licensed in 2025)
  6. Continue through all required steps, selecting Next at the bottom of each page.
Important: Once your online application is complete, write your Business License (BL) number on the yellow renewal page and mail it as instructed by the City of Orange Beach.
