Owner Portal Consolidation

The purpose of this communication is to provide owners in the Brett/Robinson vacation rental program with information about the status of the three operational Owner Portals. In addition, this communication will provide the plan and timeline for consolidating the technology into one operational Owner Portal. 

Currently, Owners can access the three operational Owner Portals at the bottom of the Brett-Robinson Vacation Rentals website. (Note: See the section below outlined in Red). The consolidation will occur at 11:55 PM Thursday, 30 September 2021. Upon completion of the consolidation, Owners will have one location for information about the vacation rental program. (Note: The current technology that is supported, developed, and maintained is called the Dogwood Owners Portal).

Portal #1: The IQWare Owners Portal
 

Portal #1 was the original Owners Portal. It was connected to our old Property Management System (PMS) before the transition to a new PMS at the end of 2020. The name of the old PMS was IQWare. The IQWare Owners Portal was accurate until 31 December 2021. This version of the Owners Portal will be removed from production on at 11:55 PM Thursday, 30 September 2021. When removed from production, the IQWare Owner Portal link will be removed from the homepage navigation menu. 

Portal #2: The Track Owners Portal

Portal #2 is the original Track Owners Portal. It is connected to our new Property Management System (PMS). The name of the new PMS is Track. The Track Owners Portal does contain accurate information; however, it does not have all of the features and functionality that existed in the previous version of the old Owners Portal (e.g., IQWare Owners Portal). 

The Track Owners Portal launched in January 2021 as a temporary short-term solution while we continued to redesign and rebuild the Owners Portal to take advantage of the out-of-the-box tools included with the new PMS. Although the information in this version of the Owners Portal is accurate, Brett/Robinson will not be supporting the future development of this technology. Access to this version of the Owners Portal will be removed from the homepage on at 11:55 PM Thursday, 30 September 2021. When removed from the homepage navigation menu, the Owners will not have a navigation path to get to this version of the Owners Portal. 

Portal #3: The Dogwood Owners Portal (The Current Portal for Vacation Rentals)

Portal #3 is the Dogwood Owners Portal. It is connected to our new Property Management System (PMS). This is the current version of the Owners Portal, and this is the technology  that we want all of our vacation rental owners to use on a regular basis. This is the only version of the Owners Portal that will continue to be supported, developed, and maintained. 

The redesigned Owners Portal is now the only website that will be supported as we move forward. This change will be complete for all owners by 01 October 2021. All other sites currently accessible will no longer be maintained as of the night of 30 September 2021.
