  • No commercial power 
  • IWW – generator not running; being repaired 9/18 
  • IWW – zero operational elevators (due to generator issue)
  • IWE – zero operational elevators (malfunctioning call buttons) 
  • IWE – domestic water pumps not running 
  • IWE – limited water pressure due to domestic pump issue
  • IWE – pool fence damaged
  • IWE – 6 AC condensing units toppled 

Phoenix I

  • No commercial power 
  • Only 1 elevator in operation
  • Significant drop-off from the end of the boardwalk to the beach
  • Damaged light pole in parking lot
  • Multiple AC condensing units toppled 
  • Gatehouse sliding glass door shattered 

Phoenix II

  • No commercial power 
  • Only 1 elevator in operation
  • Significant drop-off from the end of the boardwalk to the beach
  • Pool pump room flooded
  • Tennis court fence and lights damaged 
  • Multiple AC condensing units toppled

  • Sliding glass doors completely destroyed in 2 units (now covered with plywood)
  • 4 units have shattered outer glass panes in sliding glass doors

  • Boardwalk damaged

  • 3 chase covers on roof destroyed

  • 7 lobby atrium panes missing; many additional panes cracked or shattered 
  • 1 unit with shattered outer glass panes in sliding glass doors

Phoenix Orange Beach

  • Several palm trees leaning significantly

Phoenix on the Bay 

  • No commercial power
  • 2 operational elevators (2 elevator pits flooded)
  • Gates, lights and nets damaged at tennis courts 
  • Several light fixtures missing in parking garage
  • Multiple AC condensing unit toppled and some flashing missing on roof 
  • Fish house flooded
  • Marina essentially demolished

Phoenix West 

  • No commercial power
  • 2 operational elevators (2 elevator cars with water damaged) 
  • Beach end of boardwalk damaged; closed 
  • Tennis courts closed due to fence damage
  • Significant damage to chillers and chiller housing
  • Both cooling towers damaged
  • Several palm trees down on property
  • 32 windows and 1 sliding glass door blown out on 28th floor

Phoenix West II 

  • No commercial power
  • No domestic water or sewage 
  • Significant damage to boardwalk
  • Tennis courts closed due to fence damage
  • AC condensing units for elevator equipment rooms destroyed 
  • Heat exchanger and cooling towers damaged, a well as roof itself 
  • Secure Vision equipment on roof damaged
  • Broken glass in numerous units; 60 broken and missing glass panes in common areas
