46520027505_95ccf7e4fc_oWhen you come to the beach, one of the things I always look forward to the most is getting to try new restaurants in the evening. Of course, when you are on the coast, you want a view! The following are my top 10 waterfront locations for a delicious meal! (They are in no particular order… They are all GREAT!)

GTs On The Bay

Fun for the whole family! The food is delicious. The view of the back bay is perfect. They even have a playground for the kids and open-air dining often with live music! If you want to grab a bite for lunch, be sure to check out their happy hour menu! Lots of flavorful deals!

Seafood, sandwiches and stunning views are what’s available at this classic dining locale. On a pier overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, this restaurant has been in operation for almost 45 years! Many locals have memories of family meals here and you can too! Be sure to stop by on your next getaway!

The Gulf

No other dining view like it! Located on the Perdido Pass, this unique restaurant is made entirely of shipping containers! You’ll find burgers and yummy delights like their fish sandwich on the menu alongside cocktails that are perfect for an evening on the beach.

Tacky Jack’s

With many locations in our area, you’ll be able to grab one of their delicious bushwackers and some yummy seafood no matter where you’re staying! At the end of Fort Morgan, on the Intercoastal Waterway in Gulf Shores or on the back bays of Orange Beach with a view of Perdido Pass Bridge, you’ll be sure to enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner at Tack Jack’s!

Pirate’s Cove

Open since 1957, you’ll see the warning to “Abandon Hope, All Ye Who Enter” on t-shirts and merchandise available. No need to give up hope! This place checks all the waterfront boxes! Great food, even better cocktails and it’s accessible by boat, car, and kayak! Stay for the day or carry out a burger. You’ll want to join their band of Riff Raff from here on in!

The Hangout

Located where the original Hangout snack bar graced our shores for decades in the 60s and 70s, this throwback offers up great food, family fun entertainment throughout the day along with being directly on the public beach in Gulf Shores. These wide sugar-white sandy beach views never get old!

Fisher’s at Orange Beach Marina

The best place to have a romantic date night or to finish off a relaxing weekend with friends. Fisher’s offers delectable dishes, a perfect atmosphere and beautiful views from Orange Beach Marina. You’ll find they were recently featured in Southern Living Magazine! You can choose to dine upstairs or dockside.

Bahama Bobs

Located in the same parking lot as public beach access, you’ll find Bahama Bob’s has quite the loyal local following! From delicious seafood to the BEST burgers, this is a place you’ll be hitting up every time you visit the beach!

Anchor Bar & Grill

With panoramic views and directly on the sand of the bay, this hidden gem is perfect for lunch or dinner! Outdoor dining complete with a select seasonal menu! This is something you’ll want to try every time they alter their delicious menu. Plus, that view of the Perdido Pass bridge never gets old!

That Crazy Sister, LuLu Buffett, sure knows how to make sure you have fun! From a ropes course and sand for the kids to play on to live music and gift shops to waterfront dining and their delicious menu, this is the perfect place to bring the whole family. Let’s not forget about their delicious cocktail menu and extensive allergen menu that offers something for everyone! You won’t want to miss this coastal cuisine!
