When you say Beach Day, almost everyone will be transported to the feel of the sun on your skin, the sound of the waves and the sand between your toes. It’s what a dream vacation is made of! You definitely don’t think of the rare but inevitable rainy days. When you find yourself on vacation at the beach for a rainy day, below is a list of activities you can do to entertain you and your family!

There are many opportunities for education while in our area but one of our favorites is at the Sea, Sand and Stars facility. Located on the Orange Beach Elementary School campus, you can explore the planetarium, research in the microscope lab, get hands on in the 1,500 gallon marine life touch tank and view sealife in the 5,800 gallon saltwater aquarium. You don’t want to miss this!

This beautiful building is nestled on four acres facing the beautiful Wolf Bay offering a waterfront art experience for everyone.
