Sea, Sand, and Star!
The start of summer is always such an exciting time, but it can also be a bit daunting for parents as they try to come up with daily activities for their kids. The usual pool, beach, and park days are great but there are also local activities to keep them busy and their brains working too!
Sea, Sand, and Stars is a great hands-on experience for the whole family. The facility features a 6,000-gallon saltwater aquarium, 1,500-gallon marine life observation tank, 800-foot nature boardwalk with weather station, planetarium, microscope lab, library, gift shop, guest speakers and more.
Sea, Sand, and Stars is only open certain weeks this summer, so check out the information below and plan your day at the exhibits.
Sea, Sand, & Stars will be opened Monday –Thursday, 9 a.m.- 2 p.m.
The weeks of June 11, 18, 25 and July 9, 16 & 23 offer a rotating schedule for guided tours, night sky presentations and IMAX-type movies in the planetarium.
