    Little Shop of Horrors

    October 13, 14, 20 and 21 South Baldwin Community Theatre. The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names Audrey II after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it blood. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!

    Known Deaths and Burials at Mobile Point

    Fort Morgan - Reservation only guided tour of by a historical interpreter of the known deaths and burials at Mobile Point from 1813-1910. Arm Band for this event must be pre-purchased.     ZombieFest 2017

    South Baldwin Community Theatre - ZombieFest 2017 is an exciting new event pairing theatre and dance on the new outdoor stage of the South Baldwin Community Theatre. Two performances, October 27 and 28 beginning at 7 p.m. will feature two short plays by Gulf Shores playwright Laura Pfizenmayer, An Infestation of Monsters and Smooth Away as well as two dance pieces by Coastal Ballet. There will be a costume contest as well as other Halloween Hijinks. Halloween themed refreshments will be offered for sale but patrons may also bring their own refreshments to enjoy on the lawn. Tickets are $15 and will be available October 1 online and through the theatre box office.

    Spooky Movie on the Lawn

    Fall is in the air at The Wharf, along with the smell of warm, buttery popcorn. Gather on the Marina Lawn with for an autumnal evening of spell-casting, cinematic fun with “Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone.” Before the movie, enjoy a hayride provided by Kutter’s Landscaping or any of the family-friendly activities available. Also, wear a costume and trick or treat at a participating shop beginning at 2 p.m. Bring a blanket or some chairs and get comfy with your crew.

    The Original German Sausage Festival

    The Elberta Sausage Festival makes its semiannual return to that South Baldwin hamlet. Held in Elberta Town Park, just north of the town’s only stop light on Hwy. 98, the event attracts up to 20,000 revelers, according to organizers. A 40-year tradition, the festival is a major regional event that attracts a cross section of the community in what has become a reunion type atmosphere. It is also the main revenue source for the area’s volunteer fire department.

Frequently at odds with his cranky dad but comforted by his doting mother, Ralphie struggles to make it to Christmas Day with his glasses and his hopes intact.     Fort Morgan Gift Shop Holiday Open House

    Visitors of the site on this day will get to enjoy a Holiday Open House at the gift shop. Refreshments will be served outside of the museum from 2-4 p.m. Special gifts and holiday decorations will be available for purchase in the gift shop. Soldiers dressed in period uniforms will be stationed inside the fort casemates.
