    Entertainment Series: Misha Rachlevsky with the Russian String Orchestra

    The Entertainment Series offers the musical direction of Misha Rachlevsky with the Russian String Orchestra. Celebrating its 25th anniversary the Russian String Orchestra, previously Chamber Orchestra Kremlin, is comprised of some of Russia's finest young string. About half of nearly 2,000 concerts the orchestra has performed to date have taken place in Moscow, the rest were played on tours in 24 countries in Europe, North and South America and the Far East. The orchestra's discography of over 30 CDs has received widespread international acclaim, such as the Diapason d'Or award in France, Critics Choice in London's Gramophone, Critics Choice in The New York Times, and Record of the Year award in Hong Kong. Each of these shows begins at 7 p.m. and tickets are $35.

    Mystical Order of Mirams Parade

    11 a.m. The Mystical Order of Mirams is a women's organization based in Orange Beach with members from all over Baldwin County, as well as Mobile, Birmingham, and even Atlanta. The group puts on the only women's nighttime parade on Pleasure Island. Begins at Wintzell's and ends at Hwy. 161, Orange Beach, 24131 Perdido Beach Blvd. Orange Beach, AL 36561.

    Mystics of Pleasure Mardi Gras Parade

    According to the written history of the Mystics of Pleasure, "while overlooking the Marina on Cotton Bayou and watching the sun set on a glorious April evening, a group of men planned what was to become ... Pleasure Island's very first nighttime Mardi Gras parading society." By Carnival of 2001, the Mystics of Pleasure held its first ball and Mardi Gras parade in Orange Beach. Unlike parading groups to the west, marshals with the Mystics of Pleasure ride Harley-Davidsons, not horses. Begins at Wintzell's and ends at Hwy. 161, Orange Beach, 24131 Perdido Beach Blvd. Orange Beach, AL 36561.

    Mardi Gras Parades at The Wharf

    Let the good times roll at Mardi Gras at The Wharf. Kid and Pet Parade begins at 4 p.m. Dress up your kids and pets and participate in this annual family fun parade! Line up begins in front of the Ferris wheel and the parade will stroll down Main Street. The Float Parade begins at 6 p.m. and takes place on Main Street. Kids activities are from 4 to 8 p.m. Activities will include face painting ($5-$10), bouncy houses, live animals, rock climbing wall, music, games and more. The SPECTRA Sound & Light Spectacular will take place on Main Street after the Float Parade.

    LuLu's Mardi Gras Anniversary Celebration and Boat Parade

    11 a.m. Head to LuLu's on Fat Tuesday for the biggest, baddest, with a side of Lagniappe, Mardi Gras celebration in town. Dress in your finest beads and costume then start your day with one of their signature beverages while you listen to the great band starting at 11 a.m. Watch the Mardi Gras boat parade as it rolls into LuLu's and keep the party going with more great music at 5 p.m. This is a full day of great eats, great music, and great fun! It's also LuLu's anniversary and no anniversary would be complete without complimentary cake! Boats will assemble at The Wharf for a 3 p.m. departure and head west to Lulu's and Homeport Marina. Contrasted against these unique arrangements are poignant, artful and traditional renditions of many of their most beloved compositions - making for an unforgettable experience!
