You know the best way to enjoy a concert? Standing on a water-front deck, a cold beverage in hand, with the sun setting in the background. At least, that’s my favorite way to enjoy a live music show.
So of course my favorite place for live concerts is Gulf Shores & Orange Beach, simply for the variety of options when it comes to music. Places like Lulu’s at Homeport Marina and The Hangout offer an excellent beach-side setting that’s ideal for enjoying a good concert (and good food). Tacky Jacks is another fun location for music—and often you can catch an open mic night or karaoke. Just check out the Gulf Shores & Orange Beach music and nightlife calendar to see what’s happening and who’s playing at these locations.
Then there’s the Amphitheater in Orange Beach, which hosts some truly awesome Gulf Coast concerts—like the Dukes of September concert scheduled for Saturday night (July 21st). In August you can catch some greats like Kelly Clarkson, Jason Mraz, and one of my personal favorites: Lynrd Skynrd. Chicago is performing at the Amphitheater on September 2nd, and then on October 4th you can catch Miranda Lambert.
So there you have it: several perfectly valid reasons for booking an Orange Beach condo and enjoying a music-filled Gulf vacation.
