For those of us who love sports, July is going to be a good month. There’s the Olympics, for one thing. And the summer Olympic games have always been my favorite—can’t get enough of the beach volleyball and gymnastics.
But the Olympics isn’t the only place to find an abundance of sports this month—just check out the July calendar of events. You could take a trip down to Gulf Shores & Orange Beach and catch some live baseball, softball, fishing, and even some beach volleyball action. Beginning this week are the USSSA Global Sports Baseball World Series, the USSSA Recreation Softball World Series, and the Blue Marlin Grand Championship. That’s a nice variety to choose from for one week.
The Baseball World Series continues into next week, and then beginning Saturday July 21st is the Gulf Coast Region Grand Championship Beach Volleyball in Gulf Shores—no need to head to London to catch some live beach volleyball action!
And let’s face it—spending a few days in a beach-side condo on the Gulf is a better option than heading over seas anyway. White-sand beaches, condo amenities, and live sports. I’m in.
