I’ve been thinking back to my last couple of Gulf Shores & Orange Beach vacations, and just how relaxing they were: floating down the lazy river at Phoenix West, enjoying the hot tubs and saunas at my Orange Beach condo, playing golf at the various Gulf Shores golf courses. Not too long ago I rented a Phoenix All Suites Hotel room all to myself and spent a long weekend reading and sleeping on the beach. It certainly is the place to go if you want to relax—and relax I have.
Now I have an itch to have more of an active vacation. And you bet the destination will be the same—there is plenty of activity to be found in Gulf Shores & Orange Beach.
I could start right with my own condo. Brett/Robinson condominiums offer all sorts of fun amenities like tennis courts, exercise rooms, and even racquetball and basketball courts at a few locations. Amenities like that give good reason to gather a small group for a Gulf vacation.
And if I venture outside the condo, a whole new selection of activities await. I could check out some of the local fishing charters, or maybe go on a dolphin cruise or even go snorkeling. Gulf Coast nature attractions offer much in the way of adventure—hiking or biking along one of the many area nature trails is always an option, or I might rent a kayak and explore the water on my own.
Yeah, it’s definitely time for this kind of vacation.
Hello Beachin’ Bob!
“River Rick” and I just saw this post of yours dated June 28, 2012 entitled “Peace and Quiet or Action and Adventure—The Choice is Yours” and were enticed to read the post because it has a photo of kayakers looking like they are having a wonderful time on a body of water.
Of course we clicked the blue highlighted “nature attractions” link listed under “Gulf Coast nature attractions” to peruse the selections and discovered you list “BeachnRiver Kayak Rentals” on the same page with links to other wonderful places to kayak — like the Graham Creek Nature Preserve.
We hope you enjoyed your experience kayaking. River Rick and I are tickled that kayaking is becoming an increasingly popular option for vacationers to the Alabama Gulf Coast looking for “Fun Things To Do” on the waterways.
We’d like to invite you and your Brett-Robinson guests to spend an afternoon kayaking with BeachnRiver Kayak Rentals in Foley, where the photo would look very different than the one shown above. The photo would be shaded, overhung with live oak limbs in a lush, green landscape reflecting a nearly still, calm river.
If there is one thing we hear again and again, it is that our new-to-the-sport guests choose to kayak with BeachnRiver Kayak Rentals because they feel safe attempting the activity due to our one-on-one instruction and because our shallow, white sand beach launch area shows see-through, crystal clear water.
Guests also say they prefer to paddle in a cool, tree-shaded canopy to get respite from their excesses of Alabama Gulf Coast sun.
Kayaking with BeachnRiver Kayak Rentals is truly one of the most unique experiences the Gulf Shores, Alabama area has to offer . Prior guests vote our attraction 5 stars on your blog page, on Google.com and on the very prestigious travel website TripAdvisor.com where we were recently awarded a “Certificate of Excellence” for earning exceptional traveler ratings over the past year, with consistent ratings of 5.0 by traveler feedback.
We’d like to thank you for introducing your Brett-Robinson guests to such unique attractions as kayaking and hope they will include such “Beyond the Beach” activities on their vacation itineraries.
Kayaking a cool, tranquil, shaded river is a perfect way to explore nature “up close and personal” and enjoy a relaxing activity with those they love!
