Missed out on Memorial Day Weekend? Plan a June Beach Vacation

Well it was a fun Memorial Day weekend spent cooking out with friends and family. We even managed to squeeze in a trip to the public pool (which had just opened and was insanely crowded). But as fun as it was, I couldn’t help but be a little sad at missing an opportunity to visit the Gulf.

So thank goodness for Brett/Robinson June savings. Book a Brett/Robinson condo in June for four nights and only pay for three, or book a three-night vacation and save 20%. That’s a good enough reason for me to book a Gulf Shores & Orange Beach vacation.

And what a great month for a Gulf vacation—the weather is perfect for sunning on the beach and then swimming in the Gulf or your Orange Beach condo pool, or floating around a lazy river. Plus there are some interesting June events scheduled, like the Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival taking place June 15th to 17th, and the Top of the Hops Beer Festival on June 9th. The Fourth Annual Emerging Artists Exhibit at the Coastal Arts Center at Orange Beach is going on now and lasts throughout June and into July, and Tuesday through Sunday from June 5th to 17th the SummerTide theater in Gulf Shores is showing “Smokey Joe’s Café.” History buffs will enjoy the Tuesday Evening 1862 Civil War Tours—every Tuesday evening, just like the name states.

These are just some of the activities taking place in June. Time to check out that calendar of events and plan a June vacation.
