What’s your favorite type of view when you’re on vacation? A friend (who is currently in the midst of planning a spring vacation) asked me this the other day, and I had to think about it. Different views have different advantages, and each is attractive in its own way.
A view of the property’s pool, for instance, can be appealing in the right setting. One of my favorite pool-view condos is Phoenix on the Bay—you’re not just overlooking a pool, you’re also overlooking a lazy river, water slide, palm trees, and people having a good time. I’ve often enjoyed simply people-watching from my balcony when I have a pool view.
Gulf Shores Surf & Racquet Club is another favorite pool view condominium, both because of the beautiful landscaping of the pool area and because you get a view of Little Lagoon beyond the pool and tennis courts.
Then of course there are the water-front views: several Orange Beach condos offer Gulf-front views, and others offer views of the Bay, Phoenix on the Bay and Phoenix on the Bay II. There’s nothing quite as beautiful as stepping onto your balcony and gazing out across the Gulf of Mexico—so maybe that is my favorite view after all!
My favorite view is definitely from Phoenix condos. Walking out onto a balcony of a 3-bedroom condo is a breath of fresh air. To me, it feels like home and heaven have been combined. You get the rush of ocean breezes, sounds of kids playing and the crashing of the waves. To the right and left of you, condominiums as far as the eye can see, and directly in front of you, the Gulf of Mexico which stretches to the point of no return. Every now and then, a plane will pass by pulling a banner of your favorite restaurant, or water-park. Do yourself a favor and leave your balcony door open at night. You will sleep like a baby.
We love the Phoenix West. The last 2 summers
we have stayed there on the 10th floor and love
it. The views are spectacular! Our condo overlooks
the lazy river. It’s just awesome.
The views from Phoenix East 2 are breathtaking. The gulf is beautiful with more shades of blue than any other spot…the white sand is deposited in different sandbars deposited by the Perdidoe Pas. I can’t tell you how awsome the views are..I guess you will just have to stay at this piece of paradise to see what I mean. I think this must be God’s back yard.
