The Nightlife Before Christmas is Anything But Quiet in Gulf Shores & Orange Beach

Only a couple more days of work, then I’m off for a few days for a short Christmas break. It’s an at-home holiday for me this year, but I do know a couple people who are spending it on the Gulf, and I can’t help but wonder what I might be doing tonight if I were in Gulf Shores & Orange Beach.

Looking at the music & nightlife calendar, I bet I’d be playing some ping pong at The Hangout. Every Wednesday is a ping pong tournament night at The Hangout. Participation costs $10, and whoever ends up as the end-of-the-year tournament winner will get two tickets to the Hangout Music Festival in May. I doubt I’d have much of a chance at winning, but it sounds fun nonetheless.

And that’s just one of several nighttime activities, even in these last few days before Christmas. Between now and Saturday night, several events will take place at the various Tacky Jacks locations, including open mic, karaoke, bingo, and some live music performances. You can also catch live performances at LuLu’s on Thursday and Friday night and at The Hangout on Friday night.

The nightlife before Christmas is going strong, and things will pick right back up after the holiday. Check it out if you’re in the area!
