Buy Your 2012 Hangout Music Fest Passes This Friday

Believe it: we are already talking about the 2012 Hangout Music Fest in Gulf Shores. It’s scheduled for May 18th, 19th, and 20th of next year, and as of this Friday you can buy 3-day passes to the event.

It’s a little crazy that we’re thinking about May 2012 events when we haven’t even celebrated Thanksgiving yet. But if you need a good reason to go ahead and purchase a pass, I can give you several: the Music Fest will likely sell out, so buying now will ensure you get in; it will give you something to look forward to when the holidays are over and the dreariness of the winter months sets in; and it could make a pretty awesome Christmas present for someone special. Plus, the passes will be on sale Friday—meaning you can get them for a lower price. Any one of those is reason enough for me.

So now the anticipation of The Hangout Music Festival has been reignited—and we still have six months before it’s actually here. In the meantime, music fans can find several other music events, including the Frank Brown Songwriters Festival (going on now and ending Monday, November 20th), a few concerts in January (the Dukes of Dixieland, Linda Davis), and then In the Mood (part of the Entertainment Series) and BJ Thomas and Billy Joe Royal in February. And there’s almost always some form of live music entertainment going on in Gulf Shores & Orange Beach in the evenings—just check out the music and nightlife calendar to find out when and where.
