Lots to Do on the Gulf During Thanksgiving Break!

Oh yeah, only one full week of school left and then Thanksgiving break! I’m already making plans for some of my favorite fall activities during the break. My friends and I will start the vacation off with a night-time ride on the Ferris wheel at The Wharf—always a fun experience. Then I’ll spend the break biking the Hugh S. Branyon Back Country Trail with friends, fishing on the Gulf State Park Pier, playing some golf with my Dad…pretty much anything outdoors in the awesome fall weather. You gotta love this time of year in Gulf Shores & Orange Beach!

In the meantime, I’ll patiently await the holiday break while entertaining myself at a couple fun events: The Holiday Arts Festival in the Park takes place at Cadillac Square Park on Dauphin Island Saturday, November 19th, and the 27th Annual Frank Brown Songwriters Festival is going on now until Sunday, November 20th. Live concerts by new and established songwriters and musicians—love it!
