I have really enjoyed this summer—I took a few trips to the Gulf, saw some great concerts, and found much relief from the heat in some truly fantastic Orange Beach vacation rentals’ condominium pools and lazy rivers. I’m a little sad to see the season end. But I’m also looking forward to fall and the activities that come with it, particularly Thunder on the Gulf, which is only about a month and a half away.
This is one of my favorite annual Gulf Shores & Orange Beach events: speeding race boats, live entertainment, a boat parade…it’s just a truly exciting weekend. Several friends and I went down for this event last year. We rented a couple condos at Phoenix VIII, where we were able to watch the racing action from our balconies. As far as I know, we’re all in for going again this year. I think we’ve even recruited a few more people to go with us.
