One of my favorite radio stations has started playing all ‘90s music on the weekends. On the one hand, it amazes me how ‘90s music has suddenly become “classic.” On the other hand…I love it. I get to hear music I haven’t heard in years. And it never fails that I get into the car on Saturday and I hear something by the Foo Fighters (one of my favorite groups), which gets me thinking about another music marvel—The Hangout Music Festival.
The Foo Fighters are one of many music groups and artists—including Widespread Panic and Paul Simon—performing at the Music Festival, which is only about a month away. It still seems like so long to have to wait, and yet it’s not that long—I’ve already bought my tickets and booked a room with Brett/Robinson’s Island Winds condominium, so I’ll still feel like I’m part of the fun even after I return to my condo for the night.
And thanks to Brett/Robinson’s Music Fest special, I got a great deal on my stay: four nights for the price of three. Can’t beat that deal!
