Ever wonder what’s going on at your favorite vacation spot when you’re not there? This is actually a stress reliever for me—to just drift off to the white-sand beaches of the Gulf whenever I need a break from life’s hectic activities. Then I will often go online and checkout the news and event calendars—which almost always leads me to Brett/Robinson’s website.
The homepage offers some excellent updates on interesting news and events in the Gulf Shores & Orange Beach area. It lets me stay in the loop with my favorite destination even when I can’t be there. And it lets me know what I can look forward to when I am there—such as the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo’s move to a new eco-friendly, fully green facility this fall (open to the public next spring).
I’m all for all things environmentally friendly, and it will be exciting to visit the animal exhibits in a new setting. Plus we’ll get to follow the move along the way, as a new ABC series will follow the new zoo’s construction and the habitat research for the development of the new exhibits.
